As parents, we love Walnut Hills Elementary and our kids love this caring community! For our family, sharing a PTCO role as a couple has been tremendously helpful when work responsibilities (and life chaos) ramp up. For families who are able to swing sharing a position, we highly recommend. This model helps us be fully engaged when we are able to and tap out when we need to regroup.

Being a part of WHE PTCO means actively engaging in my child’s education and fostering a strong community. I make it work by integrating PTCO activities with our family and having them join in. I'm looking forward to a great year!
Communications team member, parent of a 1st and 4th grader
WHE is a huge part of our family and it feels important to do our part in helping the school and its community thrive. I think the PTCO does a great job meeting parents where they are and finding ways to get them involved.
PTCO Board members are elected each Spring for the following academic year. If you are interested in becoming a PTCO Board member, please reach out to whptco.president@gmail.com and check out the Roles & Responsibilities.
